Open a zCase. This allows you and the owner to communicate back and forth with each other while maintaining your anonymity. To open a zCase, simply enter the zTag ID number into the search field on our home page. When you are presented with Message Options, select number 2.
No. You can send an Insta-Found Message without having to sign up. To send an Insta-Found Message, simply enter the zTag ID number into the search field on our home page. When you are presented with Message Options, select number 1.
That is for both the Owner and Finder to work out. There are many honest people who want to return lost items. zReturn's mission is to give you a fast and reliable way to contact each other, while keeping yourself as anonymous as you want to be.
That is for you to decide. We recommend that you use common sense and exercise extreme caution. Give out as little information as possible, and if you choose to meet, do so in a public place.
Simply to prevent abuse. Since Insta-Found Messages are anonymous, if someone gets hold of a valid zID number, they could send whatever type of message they want, as long as they like. To keep possible abuse to a minimum, no more than three Insta-Found Messages can be sent per zTag. Once the Owner marks the item found, then this is set back to zero.

Currently we only offer the standard zReturn Kit. If you need additional zTags or key tags you will need to purchase a complete kit.
We put great effort to ensure that all zID's are unique. However, manufacturing errors do occur. On the same page giving you the error you will see a link to use if you are certain that you are entering the zID correctly. Please use that link and we will strive to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Without having your email address, the zReturn system will have no way of forwarding messages to you from people who found your lost item. Please remember, zReturn keeps all your contact info private.
Once a person registers a zTag, that number is no longer available until they delete it from their list of zTag items. At that point the zID number is back in circulation and can be registered by anyone.
Yes. That person will need to sign up on the zReturn system.
No. You may register as many zTags as you like.

Because your own tags would reveal personal contact info that you may prefer not to display. This info can also change. With zReturn you have anonymity and a complete lost and found system behind you.
